Frequently Asked Questions

How can I find remote digital marketing jobs?

Due to the competitive nature of the market, starting out as a remote marketer is never easy. Yet, if you’ve (carefully) read this guide, then finding your first few gigs shouldn’t be too difficult. No matter what kind of remote work you are looking for here are a few ways to land a new gig:

  • Enquire from your network of friends for job openings.
  • Build your CV and qualifications, then apply to a marketing company.
  • Take remote marketing courses, most help their graduates find jobs upon completion of their program.
  • Create a website and social media channels to advertise your services online.
  • List yourself on a freelance platform.

Can digital marketing be done from home?

Depending on your knowledge, experience, and relevant skills, almost every job can be done from home.

What you need is a solid computer or laptop, a stable internet connection, and an excellent online presence. By online presence, we mean having a profile that would attract clients, a portfolio listing all your work, and a solid strategy to gain new clients and keep them in the long run.

The only drawback is that when it comes to creating and implementing digital marketing strategies, you can’t receive the same feedback (both positive and negative) that you would have gotten from clients if you were in an office or via live communication.

How much a freelancer can earn in digital marketing?

Being a freelancer means you can work from anywhere in the world. However, to become a highly sought-after freelancer, especially in digital marketing, you’ll need to be extremely skillful and have extensive experience.

But, things are easier said than done, so you’ll need to put in hours into developing relevant skills, and you’ll need to be up-to-date with the latest developments and technology regarding digital marketing.
