Job Description


Leading mid-sized personal injury law firm seeks experienced personal injury attorney for full-time position evaluating potential claims and using legal judgment to determine if the case meets Firm criteria for representation.


  • Review intake inquiries from potential clients to determine if the firm will accept the case.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the resolution of client issues and complaints.
  • Provide legal guidance to the firm’s paralegals and other staff as needed.
  • Work with department supervisors to ensure that all clients or prospective clients receive world-class customer service.


  • Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
  • You must be licensed in NC, have submitted a NC comity application, or have completed the NC bar UBE transfer process
  • Minimum of five to seven years’ personal injury practice experience required
  • Able to use independent judgement to evaluate viability of case & whether or not the firm should accept the case
  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume practice
  • Demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, client confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards
  • Experience with Needles or other case management software a plus
