Description:
Leading mid-sized personal injury law firm seeks experienced personal injury attorney for full-time position evaluating potential claims and using legal judgment to determine if the case meets Firm criteria for representation.
Responsibilities:
- Review intake inquiries from potential clients to determine if the firm will accept the case.
- Serve as a point of contact for the resolution of client issues and complaints.
- Provide legal guidance to the firm’s paralegals and other staff as needed.
- Work with department supervisors to ensure that all clients or prospective clients receive world-class customer service.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
- You must be licensed in NC, have submitted a NC comity application, or have completed the NC bar UBE transfer process
- Minimum of five to seven years’ personal injury practice experience required
- Able to use independent judgement to evaluate viability of case & whether or not the firm should accept the case
- Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume practice
- Demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, client confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards
- Experience with Needles or other case management software a plus
