Role / Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for management and coordination of overall company market awareness and corporate communications initiatives. This role will be an integral part of our Marketing Team and is responsible for managing, developing and implementing the online marketing strategy to maximize site traffic growth, conversion rates, and user participation.

  • Responsible for leveraging search, display, and other forms of digital marketing to generate awareness and quality leads.
  • Web: Implement strategies that increase awareness about our products and services, continue to build upon our authoritative industry position, and generate new business opportunities in the form of qualified leads via webform conversion.
  • Paid Search Engine Marketing: Manage directly and work with external third party vendors where appropriate to manage the company’s global paid search marketing activities, optimize website/landing pages, conduct A/B testing, and change ad text creative.
  • Web Analytics: Analyze website performance metrics and provide web analytics reports (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc); identify actionable data points and make optimization recommendations or changes to programs where applicable.
  • Web Presence: Lead strategy development for how our products and services are represented on the website.
  • Ownership of Organic Search Optimization: Focused optimization of website and other marketing tactics to elevate our position on searches for high relevance search terms and phrases.
  • Social Media: Lead the definition and execution of social media strategy and manage social media outlets.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing communications and/or digital marketing in enterprise software.
  • Experience managing web-based online marketing campaigns with at least 5 years focused on B2B lead generation
  • Experience managing Google Adwords paid search marketing activities in a B2B environment
  • Experience using and optimizing Google Analytics for lead conversion tracking, including developing advanced segmentation and using regular expressions for filtering.
  • Working knowledge of integrating marketing automation systems with campaign tracking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a technical discipline
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation applications as well as website CMS applications and google analytics and adwords.
