Job Description

As Vision Benefits of America (VBA) continues to enjoy unprecedented growth, we have a business need to expand internal marketing expertise. As a result, VBA is seeking a dynamic, highly organized Digital Marketing Strategist to join its growing team. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the organization’s overall marketing initiatives, including email, search engine optimization, social media, digital advertising, ROI, competitive analysis, etc. Due to the dynamic nature of this role, the incumbent must be comfortable in shifting work environments, proactively anticipating business needs while taking personal ownership of the outcome.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain marketing campaigns and project plans. Make decisions based on analytical resources to demonstrate value of campaigns
  • Track and measure content impact to evaluate what is working or not and ensure that content strategy meets business objectives
  • Identify online marketing trends and insights to optimize marketing spend and campaign performance
  • Manage spend allocation
  • Manage Google Analytics and Google Adwords
  • Execute digital ad campaigns using Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager and other paid media
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor and manage campaigns
  • Assist with content creation and splint copy from one medium into multiple pieces for reuse

Requirements / Qualifications

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, English or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
  • Experience working in the insurance, optical or other highly regulated industries including distribution channel, business to business and direct to consumer marketing
  • Proficient in ADOBE Creative Suite, Hubspot, Umbraco, Facebook, LinkedIn, Salesforce
  • Certified in beginning or intermediate Google Analytics
  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis and charting
