Job Description

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services Team! 

Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Preferred Qualifications

Team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with PowerPoint
Skilled in the development of infographics, iconography and basic illustration
Familiarity with video production process/camera work is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Designing and producing internal and external marketing and communications materials that bring our brand to life and tell the stories of our firm. Materials include: social media and website content for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives, digital and print promotional materials, conference and exhibit support, internal and external emails, PowerPoint decks.
  • Providing peer reviews of designs for other designers/creative staff. Shares technical and design knowledge with peers.
  • Working with internal and external vendors, such as technology suppliers, photographers and printers, to ensure the price, quality, schedule and delivery of the above materials.
  • Maintaining specialized knowledge of graphic design applications and principles for digital and print media.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 0 years.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and typography principles and the ability to apply them to solve marketing and business challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of current graphic design (and related) software applications.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
