Job Description

Smart Valor is seeking a blockchain architect to design and build the next generation of its technology. You will be responsible for supporting the existing VALOR token on the ethereum blockchain and designing and implementing Non-Fungible Token smart contracts for VALOR Prime. You will work directly with the senior management team to align business priorities with technology, and will be working with a team of full stack engineers.

Position can be remote, but applicant must be willing to work during business hours for Zug / Munich (CET). If you see a fit and want to join our team, we are happy to receive your application.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, smart contracts on Ethereum and other blockchains.
  • Lead through innovation.
  • Be responsible for the development of VALOR Prime, our marketplace for Non-Fungible tokens.
  • Propose new solutions for how to better integrate the VALOR token across the blockchain ecosystem and within Smart Valor Products.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience working with Ethereum. If you are not familiar with Solidity or ERC token standards, this is not the role for you.
  • A passion for tokens and in particular, non-fungible tokens.
  • Background in software architecture and engineering.
  • Leadership ability.
  • At least two years' experience as a blockchain architect / developer.
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages, such as C++, Java, and Python.
  • Extensive experience in back-end development, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Knowledge of cryptography and blockchain protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in blockchain management and data protection.
