Job Description

The Assistant Producer of Virtual Experiences role includes participation in new and ongoing instructor communications, organizing production activities (gathering instructor information, developing class rundowns, briefing facilitators, reviewing class assets, creating materials needed and more), innovating and executing original experience ideas, and ensuring each Experience is built and maintained flawlessly. Eventually, this person will have ownership over the areas of program development that best fit their skillsets.

This is a fully remote role, and you must be a resident of New York state. You will provide your own computer and internet connection.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Experiences Manager in the creation and development of new Uncommon Experiences. Research class ideas and concepts, and vet instructors.
  • Develop creative briefs for new classes to be reviewed by Experiences Manager.
  • Ensures new instructors are trained in the Uncommon Goods Brand and understand the rules of engagement and code of conduct of teaching for Uncommon Experiences.
  • Communicates with current instructors to provide feedback, schedule check-ins, and assist with class scheduling.
  • Develops all class rundowns and ensures accuracy of facilitator script and class instruction.
  • Reviews class copy, designs, and maker bios for accuracy and flags to appropriate parties for approval.
  • Works cross-functionally with the creative team to ensure that Experiences is well-integrated within the business.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or an equivalent field preferred
  • 1-3 years professional work experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to develop new and efficient processes
