Trademark Attorney

Our team is looking for an IP Attorney to assist in day-to-day task.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Preparing and filing trademark applications
• Trademark prosecution – domestic and foreign
• Preparing clearance opinions
• Performing due diligence and portfolio management
• Prepare and file recordals (assignments and name changes)
• Coordinate global trademark filings and global search projects
• Review and evaluate watch notices
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
• Explain, clarify and simplify complex information
• Offer legal representation to clients in court proceedings on intellectual property matters

Job Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree
• 5+ years experience in trademarks
• Knowledge of patents is a plus but not required
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
• Natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple requests, and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
