Job Description

The Virtual Event Marketing Manager is responsible for executing professional live and pre-recorded webinars to support marketing, sales, customer service, and training initiatives. As the owner of Sales Boomerang’s virtual events, this role is an essential component of driving corporate goals. The focus of this position is to excite and entice prospects and customers about our technology and promote Sales Boomerang as one of the premier thought leaders within the FinTech and Mortgage Industries.
A successful Virtual Event Marketing Manager will be dedicated to creating smooth and engaging webinar experiences for speakers and attendees. Our digital events and webinars are generally held between 12 PM EST and 3 PM EST, so your working hours will support webinars occurring during this timeline. This is a full-time, remote position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set clearly defined expectations and goals for each webinar for all participants involved
  • Plan each virtual event from start to finish according to requirements, target audiences, and objectives
  • Own all duties necessary to create and complete a webinar including networking with potential partners and customers, coordinating and scheduling with speakers, curating themes and concepts for each webinar, leading preliminary brainstorming meetings and pre-event dry-runs, guiding the design and content on slide decks, running the live webinar, and conducting any preliminary or post-op reporting duties
  • Work with speakers and designers to create presentation materials
  • Curate thematic and meaningful content for the slide decks; especially as it pertains to thoughtful and evocative panel questions; work with speakers and marketing to determine the most important points to market the webinar
  • Align with all departments to champion our message and mission, as well as learn how best to respond to tough questions and objections; work alongside our CEO and collaborate with the leadership team to get insights and execute ideas for each webinar
  • Liaise with email marketing and performance marketing to promote event registration
  • Create and review presentation materials and welcome feedback from speakers prior to the live webinar
  • Draw a crowd to virtual events; conduct webinar promotions that drive audience registrations
  • Record the webinar and work with a video editor to provide on-demand webinars and other promotional clips; distribute video and clips across multiple channels
  • Analyze metrics and evaluate the overall effectiveness of delivered webinars

Requirements / Qualifications

  • You are knowledgeable of the best virtual platforms and have a deep understanding of webinar tech
  • You are a wizard at Zoom
  • You have a genuine passion for driving engagement through a virtual world
  • You could run a virtual event in your sleep; extensive virtual event experience, including clear, quantified success metrics
  • You have impeccable attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and demanding timeframes
  • You have excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
  • You are proficient in Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • A nice-to-have: you are proficient in HubSpot; you will need to learn how to pull reports and disseminate them to the SDR team
