As a Senior Consultant of Marketing Strategy on our CVS Media Exchange (CMX) business, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of a fast-growing retail media arm for the 4th largest company in the US. Your aim is to maximize advertiser & CVS objectives including but not limited to: campaign performance, media investment, increased trips & site visits and category-specific initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • You’ll serve as an internal point of contact for the CMX business, driving alignment with cross-functional teams including Front Store Marketing, Merchandising, In-Store Monetization, Digital, and Loyalty & Personalization.
  • You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and marketing efforts, ensuring we deliver the necessary business and consumer outcomes on-time, on-budget and on-strategy.
  • You’ll support the team in driving internal education and advocacy for CMX by owning the CMX monthly newsletter and contributing to cross-functional meetings to socialize progress, demonstrate value and bring others along on our exciting journey.
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy for CMX, you’ll visibly impact the CMX roadmap through support capacities, taking on additional responsibilities over time to enhance your skill set.
  • Roadmap examples include extending media to new categories and vetting new category-specific external partnerships.
  • You will support the broader team in assessing the landscape, gathering inputs from appropriate partners, exploring feasibility (e.g. legal review, operational readiness), and support execution of project deliverables (e.g. business case, advertiser pitch collateral).
  • In addition, you’ll partner with the Media, Delivery, MarTech & Product teams as we refine our retail media offering. Your knowledge of the links & connections between business units will help to drive CMX decisions and your trusted relationships across the organization will help break down barriers, unlocking maximum future success for CMX.
  • The development of strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the organization will be key as we work to satisfy the needs of multiple stakeholders and holding teams accountable against approved workstreams.
  • Your continued knowledge of the digital and retail media marketplace will be valuable as you keep CMX abreast of the competitive landscape.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 2+ years of marketing or advertising experience with a focus on retail and digital marketing communications
  • Bachelor’s in Business or Marketing is required
  • Experience in Ecommerce/Digital
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, across departments, and with Business Partners
  • Superior project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enjoys managing projects in an environment where priorities can change quickly
  • A thirst for data driven Marketing – where data, technology, and creativity meet
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, across departments, and with Business Partners
