Job Description

The successful candidate will lead graphic design (print and digital) for the firm and coordinate marketing activities. This is not a simple design production position; the ideal candidate should be able to take initiative, lead and coordinate, and manage assignments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare marketing proposals, integrating information from multiple sources and people
  • Design and desktop publish reports (25-300 pages), newsletters, flyers, and large-format presentation boards integrating text, graphs, maps, and photos
  • Create and manage websites
  • Coordinate and track marketing initiatives
  • Organize and manage marketing files and information

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a BA and minimum two years’ experience (more experience is desirable) in design and production of print, web media, and presentation materials and in document management.
  • Strong expertise in InDesign; expertise in other Adobe CS software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Strong knowledge of page layout, information design, typography, UI design
  • Excellent writing skills, and command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to independently prepare and manage high-quality, grammatically-correct, error-free documents
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of web design, WIX, WordPress, and Squarespace
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with different levels of staff and clients.
  • Previous experience and in planning, landscape, or architectural office helpful
